ADMISSION SPECIALISTS

Liam Dunfey, M.A. has worked for several southern California universities over the last ten years, including the University of California, San Diego. He earned his B.A. from Elmira College and his M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park. He served as Drew University's Southern California Admission Officer from 2006-2009. Liam has been counseling students for over ten years on college decision making and choices. Liam was raised in Boston and now resides in San Diego. He has been a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association since 2006 and is the Vice-President of Education for his local Toastmasters International group.


Brian Davis, M.T.S. has over 25 years of experience from liberal arts to engineering technology; from open admission to competitive architecture; from two-year to four-year; from counselor to director; from domestic to international. For fourteen years he was the Director of U.S. Admissions for Richmond, The American International University in LondonEngland. He started his college admissions career as a student in the Wichita State University admissions office. Brain worked Franklin Institute of Boston and was Director of Operations at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. He currently works for The American University of Rome and lives in Kansas.


Aaron F. Smith earned his B.A. degree in Psychology from Curry College, and his College Counseling Certification from UCLA where his concentration was in students with Learning Disabilities.  He has been a college admission professional in Massachusetts for six years and is currently the Learning Disabilities Association consultant for the state of Massachusetts. 


David Flynn
, M.A. has been a college admission professional in Connecticut and New York for forty years.  He has advised students in various roles - as Director of Admission, as Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, and as Dean for External Affairs, at private four-year colleges and universities in the metropolitan New York area. He also has served in several offices within state, regional, and national organizations in higher education. Dave earned his B.A. from Marist College (NY) and his M.A. from Fairfield University (CT).

Jill Madenberg has been a college admission professional in New York for fifteen years, serving as a certified high school guidance counselor and independent college consultant in Long Island near New York City. She earned her bachelor’s from The George Washington University and master’s degree from New York University. Jill has worked with countless high school students as they take the journey through the exciting college planning and selection process!  Services range from high school course selection, college selection, application preparation, essay review, extra-curricular activities, mock interviews and overview of scholarship opportunities. 

Bradley Kasper is the President and Founder of Complete Student-Athlete, LLC.  He earned his M.A. in Clinical Sport Psychology in 2001 from Argosy University in Phoenix, AZ and his B.A. in Psychology from Syracuse University in 1995. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Kasper directed the enrichment services program for the Barringer High School football team in Newark, NJ, a program he created under the sponsorship of the National Football Foundation’s Play It Smart Program. Mr. Kasper also served as a school counselor at Barringer High School from 2003 to 2007 where he assisted many students in improving academic performance and the application and selection process for College.  Prior to graduate school, Bradley worked for Assessment Solutions Incorporated, a New York City based consulting firm that provided assessments for selection and performance enhancement to corporations. Bradley lives in upstate NY.

Alison Rubin
, M.A., M.Ed. has spent much of her life working with students between New England and Europe.  Her experience in the field of student affairs ranges from Student Life to College Admissions in both the United States and the United Kingdom. By remaining active in the field of student development, Alison continues to bring insightful and current strategies to her students.  In addition to her work at the college level, Alison has been a junior high school English and Social Studies teacher.  This teaching background has added to her passion for literature and composition, and inspired her to help make the writing process less stressful and fun!  She specializes in aiding students in constructing, writing, and editing college application essays.  Currently, she is the Deputy Director of the U.S. Admissions Office for Richmond, The American International University in LondonEngland.

Scott Daigle, M.Ed. is the director of Premier College Advisors located in south Florida. He is a state certified high school guidance counselor with a master's degree in Educational Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. Prior to becoming a school counselor, Scott was a teacher, tutor, and varsity hockey coach in Maine. After earning his graduate degree, he was the college admissions advisor for a public high school in Ft. Lauderdale. He has school board security clearance in both Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Scott completed a work exchange in New Zealand and Australia after earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee.  He was the first consultant in the country to win a private court settlement regarding college admissions as an expert witness in New Jersey.  Scott is a professional member of the American School Counselor Association, the Higher Education Consultants Association, and the National Association for College Admission Counseling.  He attended five undergraduate colleges and three graduate schools before starting his private consulting practice.

Bonnie Weiland Hare has been in the counseling profession for thirty-four years at the high school/college levels in Wisconsin and is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).  Additionally, Bonnie is a partner in Opt2Xplore, a database company dedicated to career and college information for students, counselors and parents.

Todd Johnson, J.D. has provided personalized services for over eight years to help students and families through the complete college admissions and financial aid process. From his base in Minnesota, he uses his professional abilities as a lawyer and his background with selective colleges to help students find the best college for their needs. Todd is the principal college consultant for College Admissions Partners.

Martha Green Quirk, M.A. has been active in the college admissions field for over 30 years. After earning her master’s degree from Stanford University and teaching middle school language arts for several years in Texas, California and New Jersey, Martha moved into higher education as an admissions officer at small liberal arts college in the Midwest – Principia College in Elsah, Illinois, forty miles from St. Louis. For over 25 years at Principia, she directed the Office of Admissions and Enrollment. But even as the dean of admissions, she remained actively involved advising students and parents on a daily basis regarding all aspects of the college search and application process.

Lora Lewis, M.A. earned her B.A. in English from the University of California at Berkeley and her M.A. in English and Creative Writing from Boston University. She also holds a teaching credential in English and a M.A. in Educational Leadership, and brings over fifteen years of experience as an educator and professional writer to her college admissions practice.  She believes in the power of higher education to transform lives, and is passionate about helping people find and gain acceptance to the "best fit" colleges and universities where they will begin to discover themselves and launch their futures. Lora lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Steve Michaud, M.S. earned his bachelors in Psychology from Springfield College and a Masters in Counseling from Rhode Island College, as well as completing all but his dissertation for his doctorate in Higher Education from Vanderbilt University.  Since 1979, he has been active in presenting at regional and national conferences on College Admissions, Financial Aid and Student Personnel Administration as well as Student Government and Activities.   He visits over 75 colleges and universities each year “keeping his ear to the ground” with the ever-changing landscape of college admissions. Steve lives in Montana.

Libby Michaud earned her bachelors in Sociology from Colorado College, and a Masters in Education from the University of New Hampshire as well as her teacher’s certification. In her career as an educator, consultant, seminar leader and motivational speaker, Libby brings over twenty five years of experience in coaching, teaching, and advising to both families and individuals. She and her husband, Steve, help families successfully navigate the college admission process. Libby lives in Montana
